Paris & Giverny workshop
Painting in Monet's garden and living Paris off the beaten path
This
workshop is designed around the awesome views I've selected for you off
the beaten path in Paris and in Giverny. Did I tell you I lived in Paris
and started my career there? Some of the world famous spots, such as
Tuileries or Pont Neuf will not be missed and free time is planned to
visit your own places of interest.
In the first preparatory sessions I'll introduce to the new students the
process of efficiently setting up outdoor and depict a plein air view.
Individual supervising and instruction will follow on the field through
the week. Dry and water media are preferred, but oils are welcome if
you're pretty well organized.
The Giverny day-dream
experience
Painting in Claude Monet's garden along the famous lily pond, will be
the thrilling climax of this workshop. In 2011 we went on a single day
tour and it was
simply wonderful!
That's why in 2012 we'll have a hotel and spend three days there, to get
the most of the endless inspiration that this legendary site will
provide. Exploring the tranquillity of the surrounding nature will be
part of the experience.
