Critic for a
Day Prize Winners
As promised I'll give
some of my paintings free to those who
took the time to post a comment on my art.
Fiammetta Negri is the winner and given the many interesting comments, the award was extended
to a second commenter, Anji Grainger.
For many of you writing a comment on my art, turned to a kind of a
poetry contest. So here the special
section: I Write, therefore I am. The top two 'poets' are awarded a
prize as well.
Here the finalists (at my final discretion), and the
links to the artwork they commented:
1]
Fiammetta
Negri, Italy
Lavender in Senanque
-
Fiammetta reports about the
composition and the chromatic solutions. At the same time she expresses
the emotional key of the scene

3] Pat Bragg,
Canada
Forse una Vela (Maybe a Sail)-
Pat develops a perfect poetic metaphor. She perceives in this artwork a
complex and deep symbolism.

La danza della Luce -
Pat expresses such a strong emotional flow that suggests this painting
resonates on a unconscious and archetypical level

4] Franco Biondi, Italy
Romanzo Criminale (Criminal Tale) -

of the restless human condition
